The Changing Outback Sky

The outback sky turns pink and gold during sunset and sunrise. Just like the changing light of the sky, so our lives wind through different times. There are some patches of golden beauty and some of dark storms.

Change will never end. It propels the annuals of humankind forward, carrying us through history. Not all is good; not all is permanent. Despite what has filled the day, a momentary desert sunset lights the sky on fire.

We view its beauty, and we reflect. Night comes next, for some, filled with darkness; for others, with stars. The night season is fleeting but feels long. If we are lucky, we are gifted another day at the end of it. Sunrise brings hope.

Such is the inescapable rhythm of life. Over millennia, the landscape has evolved and changed, never completely disappearing. We have allotted days as we live our lives in its cradle. As we travel through the hours of our time here, looking for the sunsets, stars, and dawns, they mark our lives, never leaving us. Look around you and see where you currently land. Tomorrow might be different.
