Tiny Fragments Make a Desert

Every desert is made up of a thousand fragments of sand. Look around you and likewise see the communities, nations, environments made up of a myriad of people and their stories. Alone, we are one grain of sand. Together, we can make a continent.

Outback towns are by their very nature isolated. Yet, even in far-flung locations, community and connection is still built. It might look like a day trip with friends, a circle round a campfire, swimming in a waterhole with family, or hiking the ranges with fellow adventurers.

A person who is alone is vulnerable. In our patch of the world, in the Central Desert, let us reach out to those who travel solo. Bind them in, draw them into our world, so that they can become part of the same desert fabric. A thousand different grains of sand are together so beautiful, the endless red that reaches horizons in the glow of a setting sun.

We are better together.
